What to Expect
Do you know that it matters where you go to church? God has a place for you where you will learn and grow in your relationship with Him. I encourage you to visit as many times as you want and allow the Holy Spirit to show you if EMIC is the right church for you. We would love to welcome you into our church family.
We are made up of people who are from all walks of life and who are at different places in their relationships with God. EMIC is a blend of brand-new believers and established, mature Christians. We are everyone from business owners to school bus drivers to homemakers, and most importantly we are people hungry for more of God in our lives.
We have reserved parking spaces just for you in the upper center of our main parking lot.
Our friendly greeters will be at the doors waiting to greet you. We have a guest table with people who would like to meet you and give you a gift.
We have three kiosks located in the front lobby where you can check your child into children’s church. Our team members at the kiosks will ask for your name, your child’s name, and contact information. They will then print out name tags- one for your child to wear and one for you to keep for when you pick up your child.
We have four designated areas for your children. “Grand Beginnings” in the east wing is the nursery area for infants. “Treasures of Eagle Mountain” further down the hall is for children ages 2-4. “His Royal Kingdom” in the west wing is for children age 5 – Kindergarten. “Superkids,” children in 1st through 6th grades, meet in the chapel building. (Maps of the property are available for you at the Information Station). We have shuttles available prior to service time to take your children (and you if you wish to accompany them) to the chapel.
On Wednesday nights, our 14forty youth meet in Hangar B on the south end of our campus. Shuttle service is available prior to service time.
Our adult services are relaxed and lean more towards the contemporary style of worship. The first service begins at 9:00 a.m. and normally lasts to 10:30 a.m. Second service begins at 11 a.m. and usually dismisses by 1:00 p.m. Our praise and worship is energetic. We also incorporate beloved choruses and hymns for intimate worship of our Father God. Pastor George Pearsons is our senior pastor. He delivers messages that are relevant, timely and inspired. Pastor George possesses an easy-going demeanor, and his heart is always to minister what his congregation needs.
